Meet Amy, creator of
Studio Markanda

I’m Amy, a furniture designer and maker building pieces to live with for a lifetime. I work with honest materials and thoughtful joinery, shaping beds, dining tables, stools, and coffee tables that feel grounded, durable, and quietly refined.

Every piece begins at the bench: selecting lumber, testing finish, tuning proportions, and assembling by hand. I design for real homes and real routines, where comfort, strength, and repairability matter as much as beauty.

My studio prioritizes local sourcing, responsible finishes, and packaging that protects the work without excess. The goal is simple: furniture with integrity—built to be used, cared for, and eventually handed down.
